UArizona is kicking off the “Arizona Quantum Initiative” or AQuI. AQuI is a close-knit consortium of Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) faculty at the University of Arizona (https://aqui.arizona.edu/) working on various collaborative sponsored projects in areas of quantum information technologies. This interdisciplinary community of faculty, students, and research scientists span the university: the Wyant College of Optical Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Science (Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science), and the College of Law.
They will also be participating in the Pima Community College‘s STEAM Family Night. STEAM Family Night is an opportunity to connect you and your family to STEAM in an interactive, fun and engaging manner. It is our goal to create a STEAM experience that allows participants to envision themselves in the STEAM field and explore existing STEAM opportunities with STEAM advisors, STEM professors and industry leaders in our community.

Our Northern Arizona University team will be celebrating World Quantum Day at the NAU campus. They will have a SparCQS booth set up to Spark Curiosity in Quantum Science!!
They will also be hosting a the Lunch and Learn opportunity to view Dr. Jane Bambauer’s presentation on the Quantum Ethics Roadmap.
