QuESTs (Quantum Engineering and Science Teams) are CQN’s main mechanism to drive cross-institutional collaboration for non-research related topics. These QuESTs span a wide range of CQN’s non-research efforts and promote transdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration of CQN members at all career stages.
Social Impact QuEST
Providing a forum for all topics related to the Societal Impacts of Quantum Science, with special emphasis on the Quantum Internet
Mission QuEST
Facilitating access to DCI/DEI-related resources for all Center members
Broadening Quantum Participation QuEST
Increasing participation of traditionally underrepresented groups and individuals with disabilities
Short Course Program QuEST
Development of 4-hour course modules for live and online real-time presentation lectures meant for professional conferences, Center retreats, and dissemination from recordings
Summer Retreat QuEST
Providing opportunities for meaningful interactions between CQN’s students and postdocs, particularly with the goal to foster a sense of community and feeling of belonging to the center. Led and organized by students.
SPARCQS QuEST
Supporting pre-college education and community-based science outreach efforts.
